• If your child is allergic to ofloxacin, metronidazole, or any other ingredient of Diof-DS suspension.
• If your child has a history of tendonitis (inflammation of tendon, a fibrous chord attaching muscle to bone).
• If your child has a history of recurrent seizures/fits.

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Headache
• Sleeplessness
• Upset stomach

Other General Warnings

• Your child has fits/seizures after using this medicine.
• Your child has liver disease.
• Your child develops a loss of appetite, jaundice, dark urine, and itching after using this medicine.

• Give Diof-DS suspension to your child exactly as prescribed by the doctor.
• Shake it well before use.
• Use a measuring cup, spoon or dropper for the exact quantity.
• Do not consume it directly from the bottle.
• Do not give more than the prescribed dose.

How Does It Work?

• Diof-DS suspension contains ofloxacin and metronidazole as its active substances.
• Metronidazole is an antibiotic that acts by altering the growth of bacteria. It interacts with the genetic material of bacteria and prevents bacterial multiplication. This stops the further growth of bacteria and kills the bacteria causing the infection.
• Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that prevents bacteria from producing certain chemicals that are essential for bacterial growth and reproduction. This results in the death of the bacteria that cause infection.

• Some medicines can affect the way Diof-DS suspension works or Diof-DS suspension itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
