Coldman Syrup 60ml
Description
Coldman syrup is a combination medicine that helps relieve common cold symptoms, such as a runny nose, nasal congestion, and fever. It contains three active ingredients: paracetamol to reduce fever and body aches, cetirizine to control allergic symptoms such as sneezing and a runny nose, and phenylephrine to relieve nasal congestion by constricting blood vessels in the nose.
Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food, and you should always measure the dose carefully using a proper measuring tool. Shake the bottle well before use, and do not exceed the recommended dosage. Avoid using this medicine during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless your doctor advises it.
Some people may experience side effects like drowsiness, nausea, headache, or an irregular heartbeat. Be cautious when driving or performing tasks that require your full attention. Let your doctor know about all the medicines or supplements you are taking, especially those for mental health, cholesterol, or blood thinning, as they may interact with this medicine.
Store the medicine in a cool, dry place at a temperature below 25°C and keep it out of the reach of children. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it’s almost time for the next one. Do not double the dose. Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Certain chemicals (prostaglandins) released in the body are responsible for fever and pain.
- Paracetamol blocks the effect of these chemicals and helps relieve fever and mild, painful conditions, such as body aches.
- Cetirizine inhibits the allergic symptoms produced by histamines (a certain chemical substance released by the body).
- Phenylephrine is a decongestant that constricts the blood vessels in the nose and sinuses, thereby improving symptoms such as a stuffy nose and enhancing breathing.
