Claribid Ds Dry Suspension is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat bacterial infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis (infection of the airway) and infections of the ears, sinuses, skin and th
roat. It contains clarithromycin as an active ingredient. The medicine inhibits the growth of bacteria. Complete the course of the medicine as prescribed by the doctor or it leads to relapse or returns the infection. Claribid Ds Dry Suspension or other antibiotics should not be used when you are not sure if the infection is due to bacteria, unnecessary use of antibiotics makes it ineffective for future treatment.

For the treatment of bacterial infection of lungs, airways, ear, skin and soft tissue infection.
Contraindications of Claribid Ds 250 MG/5ML
- If you are allergic to clarithromycin or other ingredients of the medicine
- You have a liver or kidney-related condition.
- You may have a condition of low potassium levels (hypokalaemia).
- You are on medicines like medicine for allergy, heartburn, mood disorder, for certain heart conditions, migraine, gout and medicines for the treatment of high cholesterol.
- You may suffer from a disorder of irregular heartbeats (arrhythmia) or other heart rhythm disorders.

Directions for Use of Claribid Ds 250 MG/5ML
- Take medicine as directed by the doctor.
- For reconstituting add boiled and cooled water, below the mark on the bottle or suggested by the doctor.
- Shake it well and make up the volume up to the given mark on the bottle.
- Use a measuring cup, spoon, or dropper for the quantity.
- Reconstituted solutions must be used within the duration mentioned on the bottle.
