Chymoral Forte Tablet

• As an adjunct in the management of inflammation, oedema, and soft tissue injury associated with:  Acute or chronic osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis, spondylosis, and other degenerative disorders associated with pain and inflammation.
• Dental conditions and procedures: Tooth removal, periapical abscess, and maxillofacial surgery.
• Gynaecological conditions and procedures: Pelvic inflammatory disease, Caesarean section, episiotomy, and hysterectomy.
• Orthopaedic conditions and injuries: Post-traumatic swelling, soft tissue injuries, fractures, dislocations, sports injuries, sprains, strains, and intervertebral disc herniation (sciatica).
• Ophthalmic conditions: Eye injury, including macular oedema, black eye, hyphema, uveal tract inflammation, subconjunctival haemorrhage, and injury around the eyes.
• Ear, nose, and throat conditions: Auricular septal haematoma, nasal fractures, and parapharyngeal abscess.
• Surgery: Post-operative wounds, swelling, swelling containing blood (haematoma), and management of inflammation at the surgical site.

• Known hypersensitivity to trypsin, chymotrypsin, or any components of this medicine
• Use with caution in severe liver and kidney impairment
• Peptic ulcer disease
• Bleeding disorders
• Increased eye pressure or some eye condition

• Rash
• Itching
• Nausea
• Gastrointestinal discomfort (e.g., abdominal pain, indigestion, gas)

Other General Warnings

• You have liver or kidney problems.
• Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment.
• Discontinue taking this medication if signs of hypersensitivity occur.
• Inform your doctor if you have a history of bleeding disorders.

• Take the tablet approximately 30 minutes before meals.
• Swallow the tablet whole with water.
• Do not break, crush, or chew the tablet.
• Complete the prescribed duration of this medication.

• Store below 20°C in a cool, dry place.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not use the medicine after the expiry date given on the packaging.
• Dispose of unused or expired tablets according to local regulations.

• Take the tablet on an empty stomach, preferably 30 minutes before meals
• Follow the dosage schedule recommended by your doctor.
• Tell your doctor if you have recently had surgery with active bleeding or are at risk of bleeding.
• Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
• Tell your doctor if you have stomach ulcers.
• Tell your doctor if you are taking blood-thinning medicines.
• Seek medical attention if you develop symptoms of an allergic reaction.
• Do not use this medicine without medical advice for unexplained swelling or pain.

Overdose

• Your doctor will determine the dose and duration of taking this medication based on the condition being treated and your response to therapy.
• Limited information is available regarding overdose. In case of accidental overdose, seek immediate medical attention.

Missed a Dose

• The active ingredients in this medicine work by:
• Trypsin helps breaks down  proteins involved in inflammatory exudates and supports the removal of damaged tissue.
• Chymotrypsin a proteolytic enzyme that helps reduce inflammatory oedema and supports tissue healing.
• Together these enzyme may help :
• break down inflammatory debris
• reduce oedema
• support tissue repair
