Description
Benitowa Tm tablet is a combination medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It contains telmisartan and benidipine, which work together to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow. By controlling high blood pressure, Benitowa Tm tablet helps reduce the risk of serious complications such as heart attack, stroke, heart failure, and kidney problems. It is commonly prescribed when a single medicine is not enough to control blood pressure effectively.
Telmisartan belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs). It works by blocking a substance that causes blood vessels to narrow, allowing them to relax and widen. Benidipine is a calcium channel blocker that prevents calcium from entering the cells of the heart and blood vessel walls, leading to relaxation of the blood vessels and smoother blood flow. Together, they reduce the workload on the heart and help maintain steady blood pressure throughout the day.
Benitowa Tm tablet should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole with water, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day for best results. Do not crush, chew, or break. Even if you feel well, continue taking this medicine regularly, as high blood pressure often has no symptoms. Contraindications
