Medical Description

Bdpoma capsule is used with other treatment for multiple myeloma and for certain Kaposi sarcoma. Its active ingredient is pomalidomide.

Contraindications

If you are allergic to any ingredient of this medicine, do not use it. Do not use pomalidomide during pregnancy because it can seriously harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you have had blood clots, low blood counts, liver or kidney disease, or nerve problems.

  • You notice yellowing of the skin or eyes, dark urine, or upper abdominal pain (signs of liver issues).

Directions for Use

Take this medicine as a whole with sufficient water. Do not open, chew or crush the capsule. Use it only under the supervision of your oncology team.

Storage and disposal

Store in a tight, light-resistant container at room temperature. Do not open or crush the capsules. If powder touches your skin, wash the area thoroughly with soap and water. Keep out of reach of children and follow specialist instructions for disposal.
