Medical Description
Arnicor 50 tablet is a combination medicine that contains sacubitril and valsartan. It is used to reduce the risk of death and hospitalisation due to heart failure in patients with a type of long-term heart failure. This condition occurs when the heart is weak and cannot pump enough blood to the lungs and the rest of the body. You may experience difficulty breathing, fatigue, a feeling of tiredness, and swelling in your ankles.
Sacubitril lowers blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the excretion of sodium through urine, thus increasing its frequency. Valsartan works by relaxing the blood vessels, allowing the heart to pump blood more effectively through the vessels to the body.
Take Arnicor 50 tablet as instructed by your doctor for the prescribed duration. Do not skip or miss a dose of Arnicor 50 tablet. If you stop taking 50 tablets suddenly, it may worsen your condition. Dizziness, light-headedness, nausea, headache, and fainting are some of the side effects of Arnicor Tablet.
Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are using any other medication for blood pressure or heart conditions, or if you have kidney or liver disease. Also, update your doctor on all other medications you are taking, as they may interact with or be influenced by this medicine.
Arnicor 50 tablet should not be used during pregnancy and is not advised while breastfeeding. While on this medicine, your doctor may suggest regular checks of your blood pressure and kidney function.
