Medical Description
Aravon Injection is used to alleviate neurological symptoms in daily living disorders and functional issues resulting from acute ischaemic stroke. It is also employed for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), known as Lou Gehrig's disease, a neurological condition that affects motor neurons. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that impacts nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord, resulting in the loss of muscle control. Its primary active ingredient is edaravone.
It is administered as an intravenous (IV) infusion directly into a vein by a healthcare professional. Do not self-inject. Hypersensitivity (allergic) reactions may occur during or after your infusion. If you experience symptoms such as hives, itching, redness, wheals (raised itchy bumps), erythema multiforme (a type of skin rash), swelling of the lips, tongue, or face, breathing difficulties, wheezing, dizziness, or fainting, inform your doctor immediately.
