Amize Tablets Description

Amize tablet is a prescription medicine mainly used to treat moderate to severe depression. Depression is a type of mood disorder characterised by an episode of sadness, mood swings, loss of interest

, hopelessness, etc. Amize tablet is a combination of two components: Amitriptyline and Chlordiazepoxide. Amitriptyline is an antidepressant that works by increasing the levels of chemical messengers in the brain, which helps regulate mood and also treats depression. Chlordiazepoxide increases the inhibitory effects of a neurotransmitter called GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid) and produces sedating and calming effects. Amize tablets should be taken only after consulting a doctor. Many side effects are associated with this medicine, so the dosage must be carefully monitored. Complete the entire course of treatment and do not stop taking this medicine suddenly without consulting the doctor, as it can cause clinical worsening of your condition or may lead to withdrawal-like symptoms.
