Amitone Plus Tablets Description

Amitone Plus is used to treat moderate to severe depression and anxiety. Depression is a mental illness that causes a feeling of sadness, hopelessness and leads to the loss of interest, which can dis

rupt day to day life. Anxiety refers to persistent fear, worry and restlessness in routine life. Amitone Plus combines two salts, namely, Amitriptyline(12.5 mg) and Chlordiazepoxide (5mg). Amitriptyline is a type of Tricyclic Antidepressant, whereas Chlordiazepoxide is a type of Benzodiazepine. Both the active ingredients act together to control depression and anxiety. It is recommended by a doctor and has to be taken as a regular medication.

Directions for Use of Amitone Plus Tablets

  • Amitone Plus should be taken according to the recommendation of a doctor. It is usually taken as a long term medicine regularly.
  • It can be taken with or without food. However, try to take it preferably with food to avoid any stomach problems. Try to maintain a schedule and have the medicine at the same time every day.
