Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Do not mix Albudac 20% injection with protein hydrolysates (breaking down the proteins to peptides of varying sizes with bioactive peptides).
- It is not recommended to use solutions that contain alcohol along with Albubac 2% injections. When albumin in this injection is mixed with alcohol in the bloodstream, it can cause proteins to precipitate, which changes the pH and damages the protein structure and denature them.
- Consult your doctor first if you want to mix Albudac 20% injection with other medicinal products that include blood and blood components. Albumin is compatible with whole blood, plasma, saline, glucose, or sodium lactate.
Interactions with food items
- There is no information available on the interactions of Albudac 20% injection with any type of food.
