Sparfloxacin is an antibiotic that belongs to the Fluoroquinolone group. It is
a long-acting medicine and works by killing bacteria that cause infections.

How Does It Work?
It inhibits the enzymes that are responsible for bacterial growth, repair and replication of DNA, which in turn restrict bacterial growth.

- Antacids that contain magnesium or aluminium

This medicine has interactions with caffeine and milk/ milk products. Sparfloxacin can make the effect of caffeine stronger. Dairy or milk products or other products fortified with calcium can cause the medicine less effective....
