Medical Description

Sompraz L capsule contains a combination of esomeprazole and levosulpiride as active ingredients. It is an anti-reflux medicine that is used for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

GERD is a condition when the acid from the stomach comes up to the food pipe along with the contents of the stomach and causes heartburn, chest pain, burning, pain and regurgitation of food or sour liquid. Sompraz L is also useful in the treatment of stomach and intestinal ulcers. It blocks the acid-producing pumps of stomach cells.

Tell your doctor if you have an abnormal heart rhythm or take medicines for other mental illnesses. Take it at the exact dose prescribed by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you get allergic reactions or if symptoms don’t improve after using it.

A combination of esomeprazole and levosulpiride is also included in Nexpro L capsule, Esogress L Sr capsule, Esmetru L capsule, Esomac L capsule and Esomefol Sl capsule. Before using the Sompraz L capsule, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.
