oughing, wheezing, difficulty in breathing, chest tightness. It works by relaxing the muscles in the airways leading to the lung and improves the airflow to and from the lungs. Levosalbutamol is available in the form of tablet, syrup, respule, rotacap, transcap, transhaler, transpule, metered-dose inhaler. Interactions with other medicines

  • Some medicines can affect the way levosalbutamol works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
  • Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
  • Especially if you are taking medicines to treat heart problems, psychiatric illnesses, asthma, diabetes or if you are taking medicines like water pills, steroids.
  • Levosalbutamol should be discontinued for 6 hours before any planned dental procedures or surgeries.
  • You may experience a rise in blood sugar levels if taken along with antidiabetic medicines. Your doctor may need to adjust the dose of your antidiabetic medicine.
