  • Treatment of ulcers of the stomach and the small intestine (duodenum)
  • Conditions where the stomach lining is disrupted (gastric mucosal lesions)
  • Increased acidity when stomach acid flows back into the oesophagus (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease or GERD)
  • To prevent inhalation or aspiration of food from the stomach or oesophagus into the lungs (aspiration pneumonia)
