• If you are allergic to minoxidil, finasteride, or any other ingredient of Kera FM solution.
• If you are a female of childbearing age or planning to become pregnant.

• Scalp itching
• Dry skin
• Scalp redness
• Dizziness
• Eye burning/irritation

Other General Warnings

• You have a history of or are at risk for heart disease (heart attack, rhythm problems, diseases of heart valves, heart failure, etc.).
• You have high blood pressure and are on treatment for the same.
• You are a female patient of childbearing age or planning a pregnancy.
• You have any liver problems.
• You start experiencing any weight gain, swelling of feet, irritation, redness of the scalp, or unwanted facial hair growth.
• You do not notice any effect after 4- 6 months of use.

• Use Kera FM solution only when the scalp or the hair is dry. There is no need to shampoo the hair before or after each application.
• Dropper applicator: Apply the advised amount of the solution to the affected area with the dropper provided. Rub with fingers gently and spread it evenly over the scalp.
• Spray applicator: Spray as advised over the entire scalp. Rub with fingers gently and spread it evenly over the scalp.
• Wash your hands after application.
• Ensure it does not trickle on the face as that can cause unwanted hair growth on the face.
• Avoid contact of your hands with the eyes, nose, and mouth. In case of accidental contact, wash the area immediately with water.

• Store Kera FM solution in a cool dry place, away from light.
• Keep it away from the reach of children and pets.

• Apply the solution only to the scalp as directed by your doctor.
• Make sure your scalp is clean and completely dry before applying.
• Use it at the same time every day for the best results.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the solution.
• Avoid contact with your eyes, mouth, or broken skin.
• Do not use hair oils or styling products immediately after applying them.
• Stay consistent; visible results may take a few months.
• Do not use more than the prescribed amount; it won’t speed up hair growth.
• If you notice itching, redness, or irritation, stop using it and inform your doctor.
• Store it in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and out of reach of children.

Overdose

• As Kera FM solution is meant for external application, cases of overdose are unlikely.
• Upon accidental ingestion contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.
• If you have applied extra quantities of it, wipe out the excess of the solution with tissue or cotton.

Missed a Dose

• If you miss an application of Kera FM solution, then apply it as soon as possible.
• Continue with your next application as per the schedule.
• Do not over-apply to compensate for the missed dose.

How Does It Work?

• Kera FM solution contains a combination of minoxidil and finasteride as active ingredients.
• Minoxidil stimulates the hair to enter the growing phase. It also widens the blood vessels on the scalp which increases blood circulation to hair follicles. This promotes follicle size increase which helps hair growth.
• Finasteride works by reducing the production of a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). In males with a hereditary or premature risk for baldness, this hormone DHT is believed to bind to hair follicles and cause them to shrink, resulting in hair loss.

Interactions with other medicines

• Since Kera FM solution is to be used externally on the skin it is less likely to interact with other medicines.
• However, you should always consult your doctor if you are taking other medicines for treating other health conditions.
• Care should be taken if you are using other topical medicines on the scalp as Kera FM solution may interact and produce an altered response.
• Inform your doctor if you are taking medicines for high blood pressure as a combined effect of both medicines may cause a slight fall in blood pressure, especially while standing (orthostatic hypotension).
