Zynicor 5 MG Description

Zynicor tablet is generally intended for the treatment of chronic stable angina pectoris. The medication reduces the risk of angina attack and improves the blood flow to the heart. Common side effect

s include drowsiness, bleeding, headache, oedema, palpitation and flushing. The dose of the duration of this medicine varies among individuals depending on the severity and condition it is being used for. Do not take more than the prescribed dose of medication within 24 hours. If you observe any severe symptoms or have overdosed on the medication, contact your physician immediately or rush to the nearest hospital.

Interactions with other medicines

  • When Betamethasone interacts with nicorandil, the risk of ulceration is enhanced
  • Concurrent use of nicorandil and NSAIDs or corticosteroids may increase the risk of GI ulcers, perforation, and bleeding
  • Nitrates, including medications like nicorandil, should not be taken together with sildenafil. It can cause dangerously low blood pressure
  • When zynicor is used with nicorandil, the hypotensive actions of nicorandil are increased
  • Due to the possibility of impaired orthostatic tolerance, dapoxetine is not safe with nicorandil
