ore. It works by blocking the chemical substance responsible for the pain and inflammation. Zott P tablet should not be used for children below 18 years of age. How Does It Work?

  • Zaltoprofen and paracetamol act by inhibiting the synthesis of prostaglandins, which are responsible for causing pain, swelling and inflammation thus offering anti-inflammatory properties.
  • However, Zaltoprofen is a selective COX-2 inhibitor and also acts by inhibiting the action of bradykinin receptor present at the nerve endings, whereas paracetamol is a non-selective inhibitor.
