Description

Zonalta Tablet is used in the treatment of bipolar disorder. It contains endoxifen as the main active ingredient. It works by boosting the levels of certain chemical messengers in your brain. This helps to improve your mood and reduce the symptoms of mania.

Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew. For optimal results, it is recommended to take it at the same time each day, preferably after breakfast. Do not exceed the dosage prescribed by your doctor.

Common side effects include headache, vomiting, stomach upset and trouble falling/staying asleep (insomnia). Do not stop taking the medicine or change your intake without consulting your healthcare provider. This medicine is not meant for use in children.

  • If you have a history of blood clots, the cause of which is unknown. Someone in your family has had blood clots with an unknown cause.
  • If your doctor has told you that you have a family illness that increases your risk of blood clots.
  • If you are taking medicines to prevent blood clots, such as warfarin.
