How Does It Work?
Woonex Injection works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2).
Directions for Use
Woonex Injection is administered parenterally.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Woonex Injection decreases platelet aggregation and increases bleeding time
- Risk of nephrotoxicity when ciclosporin is given with Woonex Injection
- Corticosteroids increase the risk of ulceration with Woonex Injection
- If you consume other medications, do mention it to your physician before administering Woonex Injection
Storage and disposal
Store at room temperature 20°C to 25°C, keep away from pets and children
Dosage
Overdose
- Overdose of Woonex Injection may require activated charcoal to re-absorb the medicine
- Do seek immediate medical attention if you over dose.
Missed a Dose
If you miss a dose of Woonex Injection, ask your physician for a new dose schedule. Do not take double doses.
