Uses
- As per USFDA, Vermor tablet is used to lower moderate to severe pain in acute and chronic situations.
Contraindications
- If you have a hypersensitive reaction to any component of Vermor tablets.
- If you have liver failure or other disorders that affect the functioning of the liver, these conditions raise the risks of adverse reactions.
- If you have a previous history of Alcohol or Drug Abuse.
- If you have severe Central Nervous System Depression (slow and steady decline in breathing).
- If you were diagnosed with Paralytic Ileus (a condition that paralysis the intestines).
- If you are having any respiratory issues such as Asthma.
- If you have been in Shock, with not enough blood to pump to the whole body.
- Note - Do not give a Vermor tablet to children below the age of 17 without asking a doctor, as it contains morphine, an opioid pain reliever.

- You are over 65 years old. The Vermor tablet dosage should be carefully checked to prevent serious side effects such as difficulty breathing.
- You have a known kidney or liver illness, the dose of Vermor tablet should be carefully controlled.
- You have low blood pressure as this medicine can reduce it further.
- You have intestinal obstructions such as Constipation.
- You have a biliary tract disease since Vermor tablet can increase bile or pancreatic secretions and cause bile sphincter spasms.
- You are planning to have a medical or dental procedure.
- You are taking any ayurvedic medicines, herbal medicines, vitamins or supplements. Talk to your doctor first to prevent any interactions leading to severe side effects.
Directions for Use
- Take a Vermor tablet in the dose and duration advised by your doctor.
- Do not take more than the prescribed dose at one time without informing the doctor, as this can cause an overdose.
- Use it immediately after opening the package.
- Try to swallow the tablet entirely with a glass of water; do not chew.
- Try to take this medication on time.
- You can take Vermor tablets with or without food.
- Check the expiration date before consuming Vermor medicine.
- Consult the doctor if you want to give it to children under 17 years.

How Does It Work?
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Consumption of Vermor tablets, along with antidepressant medicines such as alprazolam, clonazepam, etc., can raise the risk of low blood pressure, slow breathing, elevated drowsiness and loss of consciousness. A lower dose is recommended.
- Consumption of Vermor tablets along with muscle relaxants can increase muscle relaxation in the body and cause a decline in breathing.
- Using Vermor tablets with other opioid or narcotic pain relievers similar to pentazocine, nalbuphine, etc., can increase drowsiness. This can also lead to withdrawal effects such as sweating, irritation, etc.
- Do not use other antidepressant medicines like monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO) like Selegiline with Vermor medicine. A minimum of 14 days gap should be maintained before taking the Vermor tablet.
