Venlor-XR Capsule is used in treating depression and anxiety disorders. It affects the chemicals in the brain that cause anxiety symptoms like irritation, restlessness, concentration problems, fatigu

e, sweating, a faster heart rate, and unwanted or racing thoughts. Venlor Xr Capsule works as an antidepressant by balancing out the chemicals in the brain that cause depression. The other uses of Venlor Xr Capsule are in treating panic disorder and anxiety. Venlor Xr Capsule, like most medications, can cause adverse effects such as asthenia, nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, dizziness, anorexia, loss of appetite, insomnia, or ejaculation issues in males. Venlor Xr Capsule's side effects are normal and will subside with time. Other significant side effects, including chest pain, mood swings, and irregular heartbeat, should be informed to your doctor. Take Venlor Xr Capsule with a meal at a specific time of the day.

Uses of Venlor Er 37.5 MG

Depression and symptoms of major depressive disorder.
Panic disorder and fear associated with it.
Generalised anxiety and excessive worrying.
In depression, it helps to stabilise mood disorders such as severe sorrow, impatience, and a loss of interest in activities.

Contraindications of Venlor Er 37.5 MG

If you have a known allergy to venlafaxine or other active components in the formulation, you should avoid taking this medication.
If you are on MAOI (Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors)like Rasagiline/Selegiline, you should not take Venlor Xr Capsule. It can be taken at least 14 days after you've stopped taking MAOIs.
If you are diagnosed with nephrotic syndrome, this medication should be taken with extreme caution.
If you are receiving methylene blue injection treatment, a Venlor capsule will not prescribe to you.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Venlor Xr Capsule while breastfeeding?

Taking Venlor-XR Capsule during breastfeeding is typically not safe for the newborn. The medicine can transfer into breast milk and harm the newborn. If the newborn is showing drowsiness and weight changes, consult the concerned doctor.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken Venlor Xr Capsule?

Venlor-XR Capsule may have side effects that make it unsafe to drive. Venlor-XR Capsule can cause dizziness, disorientation, and vision changes such as blurred vision, all of which can impair your ability to drive. Avoid driving a car or using machinery if you have any of these symptoms while taking this medication

Can I consume alcohol with the Venlor Xr Capsule?

When taking this prescription, it is not recommended to drink alcohol. It raises the risk of side effects such as dizziness, difficulty concentrating, impaired judgement, and so on. You should avoid doing anything that requires a high level of mental alertness while taking this medicine, such as driving a car or operating machinery, if you drink alcohol while taking it.

Directions for Use of Venlor Er 37.5 MG

Always follow your doctor's instructions when taking Venlor Xr Capsule.
The concerned physician suggests the dosage of this medicine.
Take this medication at the same time every day if possible.
Take a Venlor XR capsule with food. It should be swallowed down with water.
Crushing, breaking, or chewing the pill is not recommended.
Although symptoms improve, do not stop taking Venlor Xr Capsule suddenly.

Interactions with other medicines

Mirtazapine with Venlor-XR Capsule can be significantly adverse. Serotonin syndrome is a dangerous illness that can result from it.
