Trp Tablet is mainly used for pain relief and fever. The active ingredients of Trp Tablets are paracetamol and tramadol. Trp Tablets can also be taken for a variety of other conditions such as body a

che, toothache, migraine, fever, muscle ache, lower back pain, etc. The pain caused due to an injury, tissue damage, or disease can give an unpleasant feeling. This pain is caused due to formation of certain chemicals in the body as a response to the causative agent. Trp Tablets work by blocking these chemicals responsible for pain, migraine, and fever. The duration and dosage of this medicine will depend on the condition and severity of the problem. It is not advised to take more than four Trp Tablets daily. Even if there is no relief in fever or pain, further use of this medicine should be avoided. A minimum of 6 hours gap should be maintained between each dose. Trp Tablet is not meant for children under 12 years of age. Common side effects of Trp Tablets include nausea, allergic reactions, and dizziness. Avoid taking Trp Tablets too often or for prolonged duration without proper medical advice. Directions of use of Trp Tablets should be strictly followed.

As per CDSCO, Trp Tablets are used for managing fever and migraine as well as other kinds of issues like toothache, backache, body pain, lower back pain, and cold.

Contraindications of Trp Tablet

Do not take Trp Tablets or take with caution:
If you are allergic to paracetamol or any ingredients used in Trp Tablets.
If you are consuming any other medicine containing paracetamol or tramadol; this can lead to an overdose.
If you are suffering from a severe liver ailment.
If you are under medication for a major depressive disorder; this can cause major reactions.
If you are under the influence of sedative agents like alcohol.

Can I take Trp Tablets during pregnancy?

Trp Tablets can be used during pregnancy; however, this medicine should be used at its lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time and the lowest possible frequency because doses above the prescribed dose can be harmful to you and the unborn.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Trp Tablets while breastfeeding?

Trp Tablets are not recommended for nursing mothers. This is because it is a combination medicine of two active ingredients, including tramadol. Tramadol may pass in breast milk and cause respiratory depression in the infant.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken an Trp Tablet?

Trp Tablets may cause drowsiness or dizziness, further enhanced by alcohol or other central nervous systems (CNS) depressants. This medicine can impair cognitive function and affect a person's ability to drive safely; hence, it should be avoided before operating heavy machinery or driving.

Can I consume alcohol with Trp Tablets?

Moderate consumption of alcohol while taking Trp Tablets is usually safe. However, there is a risk of liver damage among alcoholics and people with liver problems.
