Medical Description
Tricilory tablet is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It comprises three antihypertensive medications: metoprolol, cilnidipine, and telmisartan. This medication is prescribed when a single medication is not sufficient to manage high blood pressure effectively.
Tricilory tablet works by inhibiting certain receptors on blood vessels that mediate vasoconstriction. This relaxes and widens the blood vessels, reducing blood pressure. It inhibits angiotensin II, a naturally occurring substance that narrows blood vessels and raises blood pressure. By blocking this substance, Tricilory tablet allows blood vessels to relax, thereby further lowering blood pressure.
Tricilory tablet should be taken precisely as instructed by your doctor. Avoid missing any doses or discontinuing it without consulting your doctor.
