Traz 20 MG Description

Traz 20mg Capsule 10 contains omeprazole as the main ingredient. It is used to treat duodenal ulcers, peptic ulcers, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease. It is also used

to treat gastric ulcers and prevent their relapse. Traz 20mg Capsule is also used to tread and long-term management of reflux oesophagitis. Omeprazole reduces the secretion of stomach acids. Traz 20mg Capsule can be used in adults and children. This medicine is only available on a doctor's prescription and should be taken at a dose and for a duration prescribed by the doctor. Do not use this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor. Before taking this medicine, inform your doctor if you are allergic to any ingredients. Common side effects include headache, constipation, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, and dizziness. If these effects persist or worsen, seek medical help immediately.

  • Omeprazole increases the blood levels of tacrolimus, methotrexate, digoxin, warfarin, other vitamin K antagonists, cilostazol, diazepam, and phenytoin
  • Omeprazole reduces the effectiveness of posaconazole, erlotinib, ketoconazole, and itraconazole
  • Concomitant administration of clarithromycin and voriconazole increases blood levels of omeprazole
  • Concomitant administration of rifampicin decreases blood levels of omeprazole
