Tobra Eye/Ear Drop is an ophthalmic and otic antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat external bacterial infections of the eye and ear. It contains tobramycin as an active substance. Tobra Eye/Ear Dr

op works by preventing the growth of infection-causing bacteria. This medicine is meant for ocular (eye) and otic (ear) use and should be used externally only. Do not ingest it. Avoid touching the dropper with your hands or with your eye/ear. Use Tobra Eye/Ear Drop exactly as recommended by your doctor. Do not use this medicine on your own. Before using Tobra Eye/Ear Drop, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding, and about your complete medical history. How Does It Work?

Tobra Eye/Ear Drop is an antibiotic that stops the formation of proteins in the bacteria that are required for growth and reproduction. This results in the death of the infection-causing bacteria.

Directions for Use of Tobra 0.3 %

  • Use this medicine exactly as instructed by your doctor.
  • Follow the directions carefully and do not miss an application.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying.
  • If using as eye drops, close your eyes for 2 - 3 minutes and do not blink or squeeze.
  • Avoid touching your eyes/ears with the dropper. The dropper must be kept clean to avoid infections.
  • Using a clean tissue or cloth, wipe any excess liquid from your face.
