Tinfal-5 Skin Solution

• If you are allergic to minoxidil or other components of Tinfal 5 Solution.
• If you are pregnant and breastfeeding.
• If you are using any other topical medicines or occlusive dressings on your scalp
• If you have a history of high blood pressure.
• If you have any scalp abnormality, such as scalp psoriasis.
• If you are over 65 or under 18.
• If the scalp is broken, inflamed, infected, sunburnt, or shaved.
• If you have a heart condition, unless your doctor has advised it.
• If hair loss is sudden, patchy, or unexplained, as it needs a diagnosis first.

• Headache
• Growth of unwanted facial hair or body hair
• Itching
• Rash

Other General Warnings

• You develop chest pain, a rapid heartbeat, dizziness, or a rash, seek medical help immediately. Seek medical help immediately.
• Tinfal Skin Solution is recommended only for male pattern baldness. Do not use it if you have sudden and patchy hair loss or hair loss due to childbirth.
• You observe no hair growth even after using it for four months, then seek your doctor's advice.
• You have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or take blood pressure medication.
• You develop chest pain, a fast or irregular heartbeat, breathlessness, sudden weight gain, or swelling of the hands, ankles or feet.
• Hair loss is sudden, patchy, or associated with scalp symptoms, as it needs a diagnosis.
• You notice unwanted hair growth on the face or elsewhere.
• You use any other preparation on the scalp.

• Apply Tinfal Skin Solution when your scalp and hair are completely dry.
• Apply the advised amount to the area of the scalp being treated, starting at the centre of the area using the provided applicator.
• Part your hair and apply the solution directly to the thinning area, then gently spread it over the area with a fingertip.
• Use the amount your doctor has told you to, and do not apply more in the hope of a faster result.
• Do not shampoo your hair for 4 hours after applying this Skin Solution.
• Wash your hands immediately after applying this solution.
• Use this solution on the scalp only. Keep this medicine away from the eyes, nose, and mouth.
• If the medicine gets into your eyes, wash the area thoroughly with cold water.
• Do not use a hairdryer after applying this medicine.
• Keep using it for as long as your doctor advises. Stopping reverses the benefit over a few months.

• Store Tinfal Skin Solution below 25°C in a clean and dry place, protected from moisture, sunlight and heat
• Keep it out of the reach of children
• Keep the bottle tightly closed and upright.
• It contains alcohol, so keep it away from flames and do not smoke while using it.
• Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.

• Apply Tinfal 5 Solution only to a clean, dry scalp.
• Use the medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor, at the specified dose and frequency.
• Do not apply to broken, inflamed, or irritated skin.
• Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the solution.
• Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. Rinse immediately with water if you accidentally get it in your eyes.
• Use consistently; results may take 2–4 months to appear.
• Do not use more than the recommended amount; it will not increase hair growth.
• Discontinue use and consult your doctor if you experience severe itching, redness, or scalp irritation.
• This medication is not recommended for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• If you have heart problems or high blood pressure, consult your doctor before use.
• Apply it to a dry scalp and let it dry fully before lying down so it doesn't transfer to your pillow, face, or anyone else.
• Expect months rather than weeks before you see a difference, and some extra shedding early on as resting hairs make way for new growth.
• Do not apply it to a broken or inflamed scalp, as it absorbs more easily.
• It contains alcohol and is flammable. Keep it away from flames.
• See your doctor if hair loss is sudden, patchy, or accompanied by scalp symptoms, as this may require a different assessment.
