Medical Description
Thyroxinol 75 Tablet is a medicine used to treat hypothyroidism, a condition in which the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormones. These hormones are important for controlling metabolism, energy levels, and overall body function. The tablet contains levothyroxine, which is a synthetic form of the natural hormone thyroxine. By restoring normal hormone levels, Thyroxinol 75 Tablet helps improve symptoms such as tiredness, weight gain, dry skin, and sensitivity to cold.
This medicine works by replacing or supplementing the thyroid hormone that your body cannot produce in sufficient amounts. It helps bring your metabolism back to normal, allowing your body to function properly. Most people with hypothyroidism need to take this medicine for a long period, sometimes for life, to maintain stable hormone levels and prevent symptoms from returning.
You should take Thyroxinol 75 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. It is usually taken once daily, preferably in the morning on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before breakfast. Swallow the tablet with a full glass of water and avoid taking it with other medicines, supplements, or food that may affect absorption. Taking the medicine at the same time each day helps maintain steady hormone levels.
Inform your doctor if you have any heart problems, adrenal gland disorders, or if you are elderly, as your doctor may need to adjust the dose carefully. Regular blood tests may be required to check your thyroid hormone levels and ensure that the dose is right for you. Never change the dose or stop the medicine on your own, as doing so can cause symptoms to return or worsen.
If you notice any unusual symptoms such as chest pain, rapid heartbeat, sweating, tremors, or nervousness, contact your doctor immediately. With proper use and regular monitoring, Thyroxinol 75 Tablet can effectively control hypothyroidism and help you feel more energetic and healthy over time.
