- For the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure)
Contraindications of Telista D 40mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
- If you are allergic to telmisartan, indapamide or any of the other ingredients of Telista-D tablet.
- If you have problems with your liver, or kidneys
- If you are pregnant (second or third trimester)
- If you have diabetes or severe kidney impairment and you are being treated with aliskiren (a medicine used to treat high blood pressure)
- If you have low levels of potassium in your body

Mode of Action of Telista D 40mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
How Does It Work?
- Telista-D tablet works by the combined action of telmisartan and indapamide.
- Telmisartan works by blocking the formation of a chemical called angiotensin II in body responsible for the tightening of blood vessels.
- Indapamide works by acting on the kidneys. It increases the urinary output and hence increases the excretion of water and salt from the body. This helps in reducing cardiac output and blood pressure.
Directions for Use of Telista D 40mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
- Telista-D tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- You should not consume more than that prescribed by your doctor.
