Syscan CT kit is an oral combination kit used for certain fungal infections of the vagina, which may cause itching, burning, redness, or unusual discharge. It contains fluconazole and tinidazole. The fluconazole component slows fungal growth by blocking formation of a protective fungal covering, while the tinidazole component damages the genetic material of certain bacteria and other infectious organisms. The medicines in Syscan CT kit are taken by mouth with water, with or without food as directed by the doctor, and the kit should be used only for the diagnosed infection.
