Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- The risk of gastrointestinal bleeding and ulcers is increased when zoledronic acid is used with deferasirox
- When Methotrexate is coadministered with zoledronic acid, the risk of nephrotoxicity and hypocalcemia increases
- It is not suggested that you take zoledronic acid with gentamicin because the two medicines together may increase the risk of low calcium levels in the blood
