Nexpro L Capsule
Description
Nexpro L Capsule ER is a medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), a condition in which acid from the stomach flows back into the food pipe, causing symptoms like heartburn and discomfort. It helps relieve problems such as chest pain, acidity, vomiting, regurgitation, and poor weight gain that may occur due to excess acid production. This medicine also aids in the healing of stomach and intestinal ulcers.
Nexpro L Capsule ER contains two active ingredients: esomeprazole and levosulpiride. Esomeprazole reduces the acid formed in the stomach by blocking the acid-producing pumps, while levosulpiride helps improve stomach movement and reduces symptoms like nausea and bloating. Together, they provide relief from acidity and related digestive discomfort.
You should take Nexpro L Capsule ER exactly as advised by your doctor. It is best taken at least 30 minutes before breakfast or meals for maximum effectiveness. Swallow the capsule whole with water and avoid crushing or chewing it. Try to take it at the same time each day to maintain consistent results.
Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor about any existing health conditions, especially if you have heart rhythm problems or are taking medications for mental health issues. Sharing your full medical history and details of other medicines or supplements you use helps your doctor ensure that Nexpro L Capsule ER is safe and suitable for you.
Do not stop taking Nexpro L Capsule ER suddenly without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better. Continue the medicine for the prescribed duration for lasting relief and healing of your digestive tract.
