Smuth Cream is used to treat piles (hemorrhoids) and contains a combination of Hydrocortisone, Calcium Dobesilate, Zinc, and Lidocaine. It should only be applied externally as directed by your doctor. Avoid using it if you're allergic to any of its ingredients. Some mild side effects may occur at the application site, but they usually subside. If side effects worsen or persist, consult your doctor. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying the cream. Before starting treatment, inform your doctor about all medications, supplements, and existing medical conditions.
In addition to using Smuth Cream, warm baths can help soothe the affected area and relieve pain. Avoid delaying bowel movements, as this can lead to larger, harder stools that are more difficult to pass. Do not take any oral laxatives while using Smuth Cream without consulting your doctor.
Some medications, such as iron tablets and antibiotics, can cause constipation. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of these. Maintaining a healthy bowel function is crucial. Include plenty of fiber in your diet (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) and drink six to eight glasses of water daily. Regular exercise is also beneficial.

How Does It Work?
- Smuth cream works by the combined action of all its components.
- Calcium dobesilate acts by protecting the blood vessels of the anal and lowest part of the rectum area. It promotes normal blood flow by reducing the blood viscosity and improves blood supply through the blood vessels of the anal area. It also helps in reducing swelling.
- Hydrocortisone works by blocking or reducing the action of some natural substances in the skin that cause swelling, redness and allergies.
- Zinc has astringent and antiseptic properties.
- Lidocaine (also called Lignocaine) is a local anaesthetic and works by blocking pain.
