Medical Description
Robcaine 540/50/ syrup is a combination medicine used to relieve acidity, heartburn, gas-related discomfort and pain from acid irritation in the stomach or food pipe. It contains magaldrate, which neutralises stomach acid, simethicone, which helps trapped gas pass, and oxetacaine, a local numbing medicine that eases pain from irritated lining. Together they can relieve symptoms linked to ulcers and inflammation of the food pipe, but persistent or severe symptoms need medical assessment. The syrup is taken by mouth after shaking and measuring with the supplied device, with meal instructions followed exactly as prescribed.
