Medical Description
Rexidin-M forte gel is a combination medicine that is used in the treatment of oral infections, gums inflammation, pain and discomfort associated with mouth ulcers etc. It contains three active ingredients chlorhexidine, metronidazole and lidocaine.
Rexidin-M forte gel works by the combined action of these different ingredients. It also has desensitizing property that helps in relieving pain. It should be used as advised by your doctor for a specified duration. It would be best if you apply it at a fixed time for optimal results and should not apply more quantity than that prescribed by your doctor.

- If you are allergic to chlorhexidine gluconate, metronidazole, lidocaine or any of the ingredients of Rexidin-M forte gel.
- If you have a history of mouth infections like sores, etc.
- As it is a combination of 3 different components, any condition contraindicated with any of these when taken alone should be considered contraindicated for this combination.
