Candid Mouth Gel contains choline salicylate and lidocaine. Applied inside the mouth, it may help relieve pain, discomfort, swelling, redness and burning linked with mouth ulcers and other sore areas.

• Check the label and use the gel in the dose and for the duration advised by your doctor.
• Wash your hands before and after application.
• Gently apply the gel to the affected area inside the mouth.
• Apply after meals and at bedtime if advised by your doctor or dentist.
• Do not eat, drink or rinse your mouth for at least 30 minutes after application.
• Close the tube tightly after use.

Mild burning or tingling at the application site may occur. Allergic reactions such as itching, swelling or rashes may also occur.

• Use only inside the mouth and do not use more than the recommended dose.
• Do not use if you are allergic to aspirin, other salicylates or local anaesthetics.
• Talk to your doctor before use if you have a history of stomach ulcers, asthma or liver disease.
• It is generally not recommended for children and teenagers under 16 years of age. Ask a doctor about suitable alternatives.
• Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or elderly.
• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you take blood thinners or oral pain relievers.
• Avoid smoking, alcohol, sharp foods and highly seasoned foods immediately after application.
• Stop use and consult a doctor immediately if you develop a severe allergic reaction, swelling of the mouth, face or throat, or difficulty breathing.

• Lidocaine 2% w/w: A local anaesthetic that temporarily blocks pain signals and may numb the applied area.
