Description
Revelol Ch tablet is a combination medication used to treat high blood pressure. The active ingredients in Revelol Ch tablet are metoprolol and chlorthalidone, which work by relaxing the blood vessels, reducing the strain on the heart, lowering blood pressure, and increasing the excretion of water and sodium from the body through urine.
Take Revelol Ch tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor, adhering to the recommended dosage and duration of treatment. Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly without consulting your doctor. Its use is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
You may experience mild side effects such as nausea, tiredness, dizziness, and headache. However, if these symptoms worsen or persist, contact your doctor immediately.
Do not abruptly discontinue this medicine, as it may lead to a hypertensive crisis or even heart failure. Before using this medication, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, and provide details of your medical history.

Contraindications
- If you are allergic to metoprolol, chlorthalidone or any other ingredients of Revelol Ch tablet.
- If you have a heart condition such as heart block or uncontrolled heart failure.
- If you have asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or a lung condition.
- If you have low blood pressure, diabetes, renal or liver disease, a decreased heart rate.
- If you have an electrolyte imbalance or an acid-base imbalance.
- If you take medication like verapamil, diltiazem, or disopyramide (heart medicine).
- If your urine output in 24 hours is very low (less than 100ml).

- You have a tumour of the adrenal gland tissue (Pheochromocytoma).
- You have an overactive thyroid (when the thyroid gland produces too much of the thyroxine hormone).
- You are suffering from a type of skin disease, psoriasis.
- You have circulation-related problems in the toes, arms, legs or fingers.
- You are suffering from a type of chest pain (Prinzmetal’s angina).
- You recently had a heart attack, chest pain or heart surgery.
- Revelol Ch tablet should not be used in children below 18 years of age.
- Your blood pressure is low, or you are dehydrated.
- You are on a salt-restricted diet.
- The use of Revelol Ch tablet may cause low levels of electrolytes in the body. It is advisable to monitor electrolytes periodically.
