Rest Aid tablet is a combination medicine used to prevent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It contains doxylamine and pyridoxine as its main components. Doxylamine is an antihistaminic and it bl

ocks the natural substances in the body responsible for nausea and vomiting, while pyridoxine is a vitamin that also contributes to controlling nausea and vomiting and are needed during pregnancy. Rest Aid tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Excessive sleepiness, drowsiness, rashes and itching are common side effects of Rest Aid tablet. Most of these are temporary but if you feel the side effects persist or your condition worsens, you should contact your doctor immediately.
