Medical Description

Doxinate tablets are a medication used to prevent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It is a pregnancy care medicine primarily used by females during pregnancy. Doxinate is a combination medicine containing doxylamine and pyridoxine. Doxylamine is an antihistamine that blocks the natural substances in the body responsible for nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine is a vitamin that also helps control nausea and vomiting and is necessary during pregnancy.

Before using this medication, it is important to inform your doctor about your detailed medication history and medical condition. Morning sickness is a condition experienced by the majority of pregnant women. It is characterized by nausea and vomiting. Pregnidoxin NU tablet, Pregnova tablet, Nosic tablet and Goodnorm tablet also have doxylamine and pyridoxine as their active medicine.

Doxinate tablets should be taken as directed by the doctor and in the doses and duration prescribed. Excessive sleepiness, drowsiness, rashes, and itching are common side effects of Doxinate tablets.
