Directions for Use of Refid Plus Syrup 100ml

  • Take the syrup at the exact time and frequency suggested by the doctor
  • Avoid taking more or less than the amount prescribed
  • In case you suffer from any other conditions, dose may be needed to be adjusted
  • It may be taken before of after meals
  • Do not stop taking it even if you feel relieved unless the doctor asks you to

Interactions of Refid Plus Syrup 100ml

Interactions with other medicines

  • If a lab test involving urine collection is done within 24 hours after guaiphenesin is administered, it may cause interference in the test results
  • Using other medicines with Refid plus that relieve cough can cause problems in coughing up the mucous
  • Action of terbutaline on blood vessels may be enhances unnecessarily if given with monoamine oxidase inhibitors or antidepressants
  • Amoxicillin, cefuroxime and erythromycin, if given with refid plus, may be secreted into lung mucous
  • Giving this syrup with corticosteroids, xanthine derivative medications or diuretics can cause greater reduction in blood potassium levels
  • Propranolol or other medicines of beta blocker category may stop the effect of terbutaline
