Uses of Rabinta L Capsules

For the treatment of gastrointestinal reflux disease, a condition in which acid from the stomach comes up to the food pipe, causing heartburn, chest discomfort, acidity, etc.

Contraindications of Rabinta L Capsules

  • If you are allergic to this medicine or any of the ingredient of this medicine.
  • If you have a history of fits or Parkinson's disease.

Mode of Action of Rabinta L Capsules

How Does It Work?

  • Rabeprazole blocks the secretion of acid in the stomach by acting on a pump called the proton pump in the stomach and is responsible for the secretion of stomach acids.
  • Levosulpiride increases the motility of the stomach and intestine so that acid does not reflux back into the food pipe.

  • It should be taken before food.

Interactions with other medicines

  • Rabinta L Capsule may interact with other medicines, discuss with your doctor about all the medicines, supplements or herbal preparations you are taking.
  • Especially, if you are taking anti-fungal medicines, anti-HIV medicines, or medicines for brain and heart-related disorders etc.
  • Antacids & medicines used to treat ulcer-like sucralfate should be taken with at least 2 hours of gap.

A: No it is not safe to consume alcohol along with the medicine. You must avoid drinking large quantities of alcohol as it is known to increase acidity and can make your stomach disease worse.

  • Reduce smoking and alcohol intake as these are known to worsen the reflux
