Medical Description
Placentrex gel is used to support healing of chronic or slow-healing wounds, including selected burns, ulcers and diabetic wounds. It contains human placenta extract, a human-derived ingredient that supports tissue repair. The extract may improve blood supply, reduce local inflammation, support collagen formation and encourage new cells at the wound site. Placentrex gel is for external use only and is applied as a thin layer to clean, dry affected skin as prescribed by a doctor. It should be used only after a doctor has assessed the wound and selected this treatment.
