Uses
- Paroxetine does not cure any disease. It is used to control the following symptoms:
- Depression,
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (frequent and persistent unpleasant thoughts or sensations),
- Panic attacks (mental condition triggered after a bad incident or event),
- Anxiety
- Post-traumatic stress disorder
Contraindications
- If you are allergic to paroxetine
- If you have heart disorders
- If you have glaucoma (a condition of the eye)
- If you have been diagnosed with epilepsy (fits)
- If you have bleeding problems

- Antidepressants like Isocarboxazid, Linezolid, Methylene blue, Phenelzine, Selegiline, Tranylcypromine - Combining Paroxee Cr 25 mg Tab increases the risk of a serious condition called serotonin syndrome. This causes symptoms like confusion, seizures, blood pressure fluctuations, rise in heart rate, excessive sweating, and death
- Nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen, Naproxen - Taking Paroxee Cr 25 mg Tab with ibuprofen and Naproxen increases the risk of bleeding
- Medications for migraine like Almotriptan, Eletriptan, Frovatriptan, Naratriptan - Consuming Paroxee Cr 25 mg Tab with medicines like almotriptan, eletriptan, frovatriptan and naratriptan can cause serotonin syndrome. It causes symptoms like stomach cramps, excess sweating, shivering, shaking, blurred vision, and diarrhea
