Pantopal 20mg Tab can be classified as a proton pump inhibitor or an anti-reflux agent. It comes under a group of medications which reduces the acid production in the stomach.

Interactions with other medicines
Avoid Pantopal 20mg Tab if you are taking medicines such as itraconazole or ketoconazole (used to treat fungal infections), erlotinib or methotrexate (used in the treatment of cancer) or anti-HIV drugs such as nelfinavir, tenofovir, atazanavir or rilpivirine. Also inform your doctor if you are on any blood thinning or thickening medicines such as warfarin or phenprocoumon.
