Orofer Xt Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
Orofer XT Tablet is used to treat anaemia that happens when your body doesn't have enough iron and folic acid (vitamin B9). These two nutrients are very important because they help your body make healthy red blood cells and haemoglobin, which carry oxygen throughout the body. If you’re feeling tired, weak, or lightheaded, it could be a sign of anaemia, and this medicine can help your body recover.
You should take Orofer XT exactly as your doctor tells you. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Don’t crush or chew it, as this can affect how well the medicine works. While it’s usually best to take it on an empty stomach for better absorption, you can take it with food if it causes stomach discomfort.
Some individuals should not take this medicine. If you have too much iron in your body or certain conditions, such as iron overload, hemosiderosis, hemochromatosis, or hemolytic anaemia, this medicine may not be safe for you. Be sure to inform your doctor about any existing medical conditions before starting Orofer XT.
Some people may experience side effects such as stomach pain, dark-colored stools, or mild nausea. These are usually not serious, but if you notice anything unusual or experience an allergic reaction, such as a rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing, stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor immediately. Additionally, if you have stomach ulcers or bowel conditions such as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, use this medicine with caution.
Orofer XT is a supplement, which means it should support a healthy diet, not replace it. Try to include iron-rich foods like green vegetables, lentils, nuts, and lean meats in your diet while taking this medicine. There are other similar tablets that also contain iron and folic acid, such as Ferium XT Tablet, Fericip XT Tablet, Richar CR Tablet, Hemfer XT Tablet, and Cheri XT Tablet. Your doctor may choose the one that suits you best.
