Ona 0.25 MG Description

Ona tablet treats people suffering from mental health conditions. It is mainly used to treat people suffering from epilepsy(seizures), a neurological disorder in which brain activity becomes abnormal

. It is also used in treating panic disorders like unexpected extreme fear and tension due to stress. It is also used for a wide range of conditions like panic attacks, anxiety by lightning and relieving the mood. It helps to decrease the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells and calms the brain. It contains Clonazepam as an active ingredient. Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) is an active ingredient that works by blocking or inhibiting certain brain signals and decreases the activity in your nervous system by increasing the action of certain chemical messengers like Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which blocks the excessive and abnormal activity of nerve cells and thus helps in calming the brain. The duration of this medicine as well as the dose, varies among individuals depending on the condition and severity it is being used for. You should not take more doses than prescribed by your doctor. This medicine is not meant for children. Using this medicine without proper prescription by a doctor can cause serious health issues.

  • Seizure disorders like epilepsy and panic disorders.
  • Acute mania.
  • Panic disorder (Panic attacks are sudden, unreasonable feelings of fear and anxiety that cause physical symptoms like a fast heartbeat and sweating).
  • Monotherapy (treating a disease with a single medicine) or adjunctive therapy (treatment with multiple medicines).
  • Restless leg syndrome.
  • Insomnia.
  • Tardive dyskinesia.
  • REM (Rapid eye movement).
  • Sleep behaviour disorder bruxism (teeth grinding).
contraindications

Contraindications of Ona 0.25 MG

  • If you are allergic to Clonazepam or any other ingredients of the tablet Ona Tablet.
  • If you are already taking a tablet for a previous history of seizures with the same mechanism of action but different medicines.
  • If you are taking medication for any skin infections, such as ketoconazole and itraconazole as it may cause hypersensitivity reactions (avoid using the tablet for at least 14 days).
  • If you have diabetes, bleeding tendencies, bradycardia ( slow heartbeat), recent, decompensated heart failure, electrolyte disturbances (e.g. hypokalemia), and metabolic disease.
  • If you have undergone recent heart surgeries.
  • If you have renal or liver problems.
  • If you have acute closed-angle glaucoma.
