Medical Description
Okacet 10 tablets are an anti-allergy medication containing cetirizine, which helps relieve allergy symptoms. These symptoms can include a runny or stuffy nose, difficulty breathing, sneezing, itchy eyes, hives, and other allergic reactions. Okacet works by blocking the release of chemicals in your body that cause these allergic reactions.
Possible side effects of Okacet may include tiredness, diarrhea, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, and headache. If these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor.
Always take Okacet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Your doctor may suggest taking Okacet at bedtime as it can cause drowsiness.
Avoid driving or operating machinery after taking Okacet as it may cause dizziness or drowsiness.
Before starting Okacet, inform your doctor about all your medical conditions, including any existing allergies, and all other medications or supplements you are currently taking. This is especially important if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
