Medical Description

Oflox OZ tablet is an antibiotic used for treating diarrhoea caused by mixed infections in adults. It is a combination medicine containing ofloxacin and ornidazole as active ingredients. It works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and killing the bacteria that cause infection.

A few more tablets that also contain ofloxacin and ornidazole are Nor Metrogyl Plus tablet, Zenflox Oz tablet, Zanocin Oz tablet, Healing O2 tablet and Ornof Oz tablet.

Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment with this medicine. It will vary depending on the severity of the infection and other individual parameters. It should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed.

Completing the course of antibiotic medicine as prescribed by the doctor is essential. Do not miss any dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own, as it can lead to antibiotic resistance and the recurrence of infection.
