Oa M suspension is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial and parasitic infections, particularly in the stomach and intestines. It is a combination of metronidazole and ofloxacin. It is commonly prescribed for conditions like diarrhoea, dysentery, and other gastrointestinal infections. Ofloxacin works by stopping the growth of bacteria, while Metronidazole targets parasites and certain bacteria that other antibiotics may not affect.
This suspension is typically given to children or adults who are unable to swallow tablets. It should be taken exactly as prescribed, using the measuring cup or spoon provided. The bottle should be shaken well before use, and it’s important to complete the full course even if symptoms improve.
