Ingredients and Benefits
- Vitamin B9 (folic acid): It plays a key role in specific reactions such as methylation and synthesis of chemical messengers (neurotransmitters). It may help improve nerve conduction in diabetic neuropathy. It is also required for amino acid metabolism, some essential biochemical reactions and the formation of blood cells.
- Vitamin B12 (also called mecobalamin, cyanocobalamin or methylcobalamin): It helps in the formation of nerve cells and regeneration of damaged nerves in the brain. Apart from this, it also plays a vital role in red blood cell formation and DNA synthesis.
- Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that helps reduce the hyperglycemia-induced cell death of nerves. It can also reduce pain, abnormal sensation and numbness associated with diabetic neuropathy.
- Benfothiamine: It helps in diabetic neuropathy
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6): It protects nerves and prevents vitamin B6 deficiency.
- Vitamin B7 (also called biotin or vitamin H): It helps in the production of DNA and RNA and also helps in the growth of cells and tissues. It improves the health of your nails, skin and hair.
- Chromium: It helps the body keep blood sugar levels normal and thus plays a vital role in the breakdown of fats and carbohydrates.
